Julieta Herrera Conservation

Introduction

This project involved the examination of four pieces belonging to the Zayed National Museum, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The work was carried out at the ArtAncient Gallery in Chelsea, where the pieces were on exhibition. The goal was to detect any changes in their condition since their arrival at the gallery, as well as to supervise their packaging by art handlers.

The objects examined included three spearheads and an alabaster bust.
